Southeast Asian Youth Leadership Program, also known as SEAYLP, is an initiative funded by the U.S. State Department that has been operated by Northern Illinois University's Center for Southeast Asian Studies twice a year since Fall 2009. In 2010, I got a chance to participate in this Leadership Program in USA stretching from Northern Illinois to Washington D.C for nearly a month.
5 students from each country namely Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam were selected to represent their own country. For Brunei, me, Hazmi - who used to be my primary school-mate, Azlina, Maajidah and Amar - PRS Representative from MD. Well.. here is me with my group during our first project - Dillenia :)
However, tonight there is this Facebook group created by the Brunei SEAYLP Alumni 2009 called Brunei SEAYLP Alumni. All Brunei SEAYLP Alumni were being invited into that group. Well.. What we chat actually makes me remember about the 3 weeks moments in the US. I miss SEAYLP '10... check out
